Masha bring the work “The Lake” to Nuit Blanche. This piece projects the funny animation on the architecture in the city. As you open your ears and follow the singing of the birth, you can find this fancy work!

"The Lake"(2011) is an animation from "The Silent Earth" project, which also includes a series of drawings and a pop-up book.
“The Silent Earth” is a quiet place. You can hear a rustle of leaves here. Something destructive and terrible happened and changed everything once and for all. There are people, who lost their former lives in a twinkling of an eye and they still can’t get used to their new existence. They speak in hushed tones, and move noiselessly. It seems that they are afraid to disturb something inside themselves. They look around in a wide-eyed astonishment, as if they just came here from far away. They can’t believe that the failed future has become their present. The Silent Earth is inhabited by ghosts and shadows. They are comfortable within this hazy world where every shape is unstable and can transform into anything else in a moment, and the multi-layered reality is rippled as a surface of a lake.
